Feyenoord (part 4)

This was a terrible week for me! It started with the lost match against Aj... and if that wasn't horrible enough we we're kicked out of the "KNVB" Cup by Roda JC. The next day I was so angry, sad and sick that I couldn't go to school and missed the lesson English. But it wasn't that bad because my fellow students told me what they did in the class so I was up-to-date. For the match sunday against N.E.C. my expectations were high. But unfortunally we lost the game without any chance with 3-0 I hope this week will still go better than the last one. But if I should believe the clouds and the weatherforcast it will be a rainy week. That's not what I've hoped but I experienced worse. Next week Feyenoord needs toplay away against "De Graafschap" maybe we will win this match and gain a few places in the competition. Lets hope for better times!

Feyenoord (part 3)

This weekend was the weekend of the "klassieker" that's the match against Aj.. . This match is the most important one for both teams, you can say the clash of the titans. If we lose this match the season is ruïned unless we win the league. But that's not going to happen this year. The day started good with some drinking at 'Varkenoord', the place where we all come for the match to have a drink. After that we went to the 'Kuip' to see the match. The result was dissapointing we lost with 1-2. But the atmosphere in the stadium softed the pain. Unfortunately the away supporters could visit the match because they're banned out of our stadium and we are banned out of theirs. With the away crowd present the atmosphere is just more intense. The upcomming week there is another match so that we can forget this one and next year we will win this confrontation!!

Feyenoord (part 2)

This is the second part of the Feyenoord blog sequal.

Sunday was matchday number five of this season and we were up against Nac Breda. This is always a tough game to play, so we were a bit sceptic the evening before. After a good night full of partying I woke up just in time to see our boys play the match. This match was a great disappointment, because we lost with 2-0. After the match the rest of the day was a shitty one. So I didn't do my homework or other things I needed to do. Those things I needed to do on monday and that was no pleasure! The life of a student Feyenoord fan hasn't got that many highlights but it's still worthy to be one.
This was another part of the life of a student Feyenoord fan, red and white greets from your legionair!

Feyenoord (part 1)

First thing that came to my mind when we were asked to wright a blog was, to wright one about my favourite footballclub Feyenoord Rotterdam. I hear you thinking, what's the link with the life of a student? Well where I'm sitting/standing in the stadium the most fans are students or have the same age as a student. Because Feyenoord plays a big part in the life of the fans. Most fans even see supporting Feyenoord as a religion. That's to much for me but it definitely is controlling a part of my life. We don't make appointments on match days, some even take the day off when Feyenoord is playing. That's what it means to us/me.
I hope you going to amuse mine blogs that I'm going to write the upcomming weeks about the life of a student and a Feyenoord fan. Red and white greets!

Assignment 2

To: All staff members
From: Communications Department
Subject: Dress code

Dear staff members,

The reason for writing you this e-mail is, there are a lot of complaints about the way you dress at certain occasions. At the last gala dinner for example, someone was dressed in jeans and in a torned T-shirt with foul language written on it.

Now the management has asked to if you could come with ideas about the dress code at formal occasions. For example should we all come in a suit or should it be more casual? A dress code is a fine idea because it looks more professional and we’ll be taken more seriously by the clients. Also it will give the management a good picture about you. So that maybe you can get a better function or a larger salary pay.

You can send your ideas to me and than i will send them to the management, so that they can pick out the best idea.

With kind regards,

Marc Willigenburg
